Our Staff

Laura joined our Pittsford office in 2007, and has become an integral part of the health care team there. She graduated from Isabella Graham Hart School of Nursing, Rochester NY, in 2003. She is a certified nurse and provides continuous care for patients throughout their lifetime. As a nurse she provides wellness gynecological care to patients of all ages, as well as guiding prenatal patients with support throughout the entire pregnancy. Her diverse family care and clinic background is a valuable resource to patients and make her an integral part of their healthcare team. Laura takes the time to really listen, treating not only the patients’ acute problems but also to develop realistic programs to insure patients’ long-term wellness. In her off time Laura enjoys cooking, outdoor activities, and spending time with her family, including her beautiful young daughter and an active little boy.

JoAnna graduated from Rochester Business Institute with an Associate Degree in Administrative Information Processing for the medical fielding in 2004. After she found her home here at Finger Lakes Women’s Health, JoAnna developed many features of our current office, from coordination of patient management, reception, and medical records, to insurance and billing. In her spare time she enjoys cooking various cuisines for her husband. Often you may find her along the water edge fishing or enjoying the wonders of nature in and around her home town. JoAnna and her husband cherish their family life with their daughter.

Sheila recently graduated with her A.A.S degree in Medical Insurance, Billing and Coding at Everest Institute, in Rochester NY, where she was on the Dean’s List. Sheila is one of our front office receptionists and she manages not only the phones, but all patients walking in and out the door with their appointment needs. One of her main responsibilities is verifying all contact and insurance information as well as getting appropriate paperwork signed. Shelia is an avid photographer and takes pleasure in being in the garden. She is also delighted to spend time with her growing baby boy.

Wendy Graham is the newest addition to our staff. She joined our group in July of 08, and she shines as she greets patients in our Pittsford and Clifton Springs reception area. Her bright and cheerful spirit is a pleasure to work with. Wendy holds a Bachelors Degree in Ceramic Engineering from Alfred University where she also participated in numerous research programs and collegiate athletics. Since 1997, she has made customer service her passion. Wendy currently lives in Macedon with her husband and two young children. She enjoys grilling, hiking and fishing with friends and family. Whenever she and her husband have free time, they can be seen riding around the Finger Lakes region on their Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle.

Shelley has worked in the medical field for twenty years. She began her career as a home health aid at Geneva General Hospital and obtained her credential as a Certified Nurse Aide from Flint BOCES, Flint NY in 1999. In April of 2002 she also received a certificate in Medical Coding and Billing from Wayne Finger Lakes BOCES, New York. She joined our team as a medical assistant in 2007. Her goal as a medical assistant is to make each and every patient's experience here a pleasant one. Shelley spends much of her time on the side lines cheering on her children at various sports events. Some of Shelley’s outside interests include bowling, bike riding and watching movies with her family.

Although Marie is the newest part of our staff, she is quickly becoming a key person in our Pittsford office. While most of her career has been spent as an Administrative Assistant, she has quickly mastered every angle of patient care including patient intake and coordination of care. She recently graduated from the Monroe #1 Boces Medical Secretary program, which was in addition to having an AAS in Computer Information Systems from Monroe Community College. She enjoys working in the medical field and interacting with patients. Marie’s kind personality and concern for quality patient care will ensure that your next visit to our office exceeds your expectations. She equates her role at the office as being similar to caring for her own family, with integrity and compassion. In her spare time she enjoys watching movies, taking her dogs, a lab mix and a Bichon Frise, for a walk, and is a passionate tennis player.

Kristen is currently the office manager at the Clifton Springs office. She looks after our patients on the phones as well as on site with their appointment needs. Her efficiency and organizational skills come in handy for the busy office. Kristen has an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts, from MCC. After completing her degree, Kristin took off to “the land down under.” While in Australia she began her Bachelor in Business Administration, with a minor in International Business, at the Macquarie University in Sydney. Upon returning to the states, Kristen hopes to finish her BBA at Suny Oswego. Kristen can be seen in both offices, though she seems to be settling in at Clifton Springs for the winter. Kristen is always on the go with work, school, and chasing her two young daughters. Down time consists of loading the family in the car, including the family's friendly chocolate lab, and heading to the beach, park, and ,whenever possible, the family cabin in the Adirondacks.

Bob is one of our most recent additions to our staff. He is quickly becoming an integral part of our billing/insurance department. Robert holds an A.S. in Accounting, from Monroe Community College, in addition to a B.A. in Psychology from Le Moyne College in Syracuse, NY. He has many years of experience in the business world, working for companies around the Rochester area. He is well versed in the insurance billing and coding for multiple insurance companies. We are very pleased to have him to sort through the maze of insurance codes and requirements. In his off time Bob enjoys reading, traveling, and movies.
